Hashrate Replacement Program
At Simple Mining, our goal is to provide maximum uptime for all of the miners that we host. This pilot program provides temporary miners to compensate for hashrate lost during extended repairs.
How it works
Eligibility Requirements
Your miner becomes eligible for our Hashrate Replacement Program if it becomes inoperable and meets either of the following conditions:
14-Day Consecutive Downtime
The miner has been inoperable for at least 14 consecutive days.
Extended Repair Timeline
It has been determined that the miner will not be ready to return to service within 14 days from the first day it became inoperable.
Replacement Process
Subject to availability, Simple Mining will issue mining units from our inventory to your account on a temporary basis. Our goal will always be to provide sufficient hashrate from the temporary miners to compensate for the nameplate hashrate of the unit that is out of service.
More than one temporary miner might be issued to your account to match the required hashrate.
Temporary units are billed only for electricity usage while assigned to your account.
Billing rates are adjusted to ensure they do not exceed the rates of the offline unit.
After Repair
Once your unit has been repaired and returned to service, we will remove the temporary units from your account.
Limitations
Please note that this Program is subject to availability of units in our inventory to provide replacement of lost hashrate. If there are no sufficient units in stock at the time your unit qualifies for the Program, we will place you on a waitlist for temporary units to be deployed to your account as they become available.
